On 23/01/2009, i went to view a puppy (claimed to be a hybrid- Rottilab-Female-2 mths) that has been put up for adoption on the internet. The girl claimed she is not able to keep the puppy as she lives in a HDB flat.

The hygiene condition of he puppy was very bad. Ticks crawled onto me within seconds I held her up. The puppy was also trembling and weak. I just wanted to help her to get a better owner, I paid for the adoption fee of $128.

Immediately after receiving her, i went to the petshop and the kind lady help us the remove the ticks. To our surprise, Toto was "fully" covered with ticks/fleas. The moment she lifted up one of her ears, clumps of fleas/ticks simply dropped/crawl out of the ear. She started to clean the other ear and in between paws and other visible areas on her. She also discovered that the puppy had mild condition of Scabbies. The pest on the puppy was too much for the lady to clean. She advised that we take the puppy home and remove the ticks/flea daily.

I paid $196 at the pet shop for the spray, anti ticks shampoos, front line Drops for anti-ticks & anti-rabbies. Over the next few days, my gf and i were busy clearing the ticks/fleas on its body. Now the ticks are almost gone as the medication works well. The puppy is in good health now.

Children, with parents' consent, could adopt pets here (:
Adopters must follow the terms&conditions of the owner, eg (spayed/neutered after successful adoption)
Adopters must give owners a regular visit to the new homes ;D
Adopters must takecare of the pets, be responsible !
Adopters must update the owner about their pets, (owners would worry about their pets too!)
And lastly, STRICTLY NO ABUSING OF PETS! &, DO NOT ADOPT A PET FOR BREEDING PURPOSES! Cats/kittens
Please, you all know, cats do walk around the house, up and down.
Many people thought cats are stray pets that don't need to be taken care of because they know how to live in public places, NO, WAKE UP!
This is what many people made a big big mistakes, is that they don't PUT CAT-SAFE GRILLS!
For cat lovers/adopter/owners, Please PUT CAT-SAFE GRILLS to prevent cats from injuring !
Cats are also lives, give them warmth,love, &, care. They will love you back too!
Any lost of cats, adopters must be responsible, please do not give excuses like, "The cat just ran out of my house and disappeared in a sudden".

Dogs/puppies
There are many children who likes dogs, puppies. Because people said, dogs are men's best friends !
If dogs are your best friends, please give them a loving home, do not abuse them !
Children must have parent's consent to adopt a dog/puppy, or other pets.
Some breeds are non-hdb approved, please do check if the breed you wanted to adopt is HDB-approved,(if you're living in HDB)
Toy breeds are pampered dogs, preferably non-financial problems family for it.
Hyper active dogs need alot of attention, give every of your dogs a unforgettable memory !
Every dogs need walks !
Dog gatherings are available everywhere, do join to give your dog/puppy friends to make!

Other small pets
Small pets are still pets, unlike dogs, they do not need walks outside.
Yet, they still need your love and care!
Meals daily is a must !
Talk to them to make them understand you (:
Tell them your secrets, they're a good listener !
And so, take care of them too !

Attention, owners should not put up an adoption fee of more than $200 dollars, if so, it is called as selling of dogs !
